The Lepers turned up for their second game desperate to make amends for their defeat in the first game, and to make sure that the season was not over before it had started. A positive attitude was still inherent in the players despite the previous week's disappointment.

As it happened the opponents never materialised, apparently not fancying the prospect of playing the Lepers. This news was obviously not given to the Lepers until the £49.50 match fee had been lovingly collected. Fortunately the night was not a total waste of time as a friendly opponent emerged. It later emerged that the team were in Division 3.
The game got off to a cracking start as the Lepers began to reproduce their form from last season. A dominant first half performance saw the Lepers lead 1-0 through Matthew Ames, before Spike grabbed a quick double for 3-0.

There was still time for Matt to make it 4-0 before Spike slotted home to complete a well-deserved first-half hat-trick. The Lepers came off at half-time relieved to have got back into their stride.

The second-half saw a more even encounter, and it took a while before Harvey added a sixth. Drake then added a brace late-on to make it 8-0. A clean sheet for the Lepers with keeper Sheen having little to do, barring the odd shout here and there.
