Mark Jerzak was appointed Lepers manager after The Bear left the post by "mutual consent".

Heppers Lepers have said that the relationship between Sheen and the club had broken down and the situation was beginning to affect performances on the pitch.

Following a shaky start to the season which had seen Sheen collect just one point from the first 2 games, the club decided that a change of manager was necessary to revive the hopes of reaching Division 2.

Sheen's previous success of achieving back-to-back-to-back promotions was quickly forgotten and the relatively unknown Jerzak was appointed by the club.

The fans weren't happy with the decision but Jerzak's record since of Played 9 Won 9 have helped the fickle followers to quickly forget their anger.

Jerzak will be absent for the final 2 games of the season away training for his UEFA Coaching badge. The Lepers may face their toughest test yet in Div 2 but Jerzak and his fans will be ready.
