With just two games to go until the end of the season, the Leper squad knew that this game against the foul-mouthed Chavs. Earlier in the season, the Chavs had humiliated the Lepers, somehow cheating their way back to 4 all.
An alcohol crisis had engulfed the Lepers squad with a number of players unable to attend due to festive drinking sessions. Those that were at the imposing Worship Street Arena were in for an interesting evening.
News began to emerge that the Chavs had breached their ASBOs and were being locked up for crimes against humanity and this was confirmed just after the expected kick-off time. A bemused Lepers 5 absorbed the situation and began to realise they were just one win away from Championship glory.
As events transpired, an arrogant Jeronimo rival dismissed the quality of the Leper side, and suggested that they were not deserving of their impending glory.
This was music to the ears of the Lepers who, having prepared for the Chavs, wanted blood.
The friendly match kicked off, and without wishing to bore the reader, Jeronimo were annihilated by a rampant Leper squad. The score was beyond recognition, but estimates suggest it was either 8-0 or 9-0. Humiliation.
Onto the Lebowski-ites, and a win in the 5.15 kick off would see the Lepers claim top spot, richly deserved it would be as well.
